More InformationDMS multi-coupling system
With the DMS multi-coupling system, you can connect your attachment hydraulically in seconds, even under residual pressure. The new magnetic locking mechanism allows for convenient one-handed coupling, whilst the magnetic storage compartment ensures that hoses and couplings on the attachment are safely stowed away. This reduces the need for servicing and increases operational reliability.

More InformationWork efficiently with the right attachment
If the excavator is fitted with the MKS system, changing attachments is so simple and convenient that the correct attachment is used much more frequently. This allows work to be carried out more efficiently, and changing the attachment is worthwhile even for short jobs. Downtime is reduced and the existing excavator is always used to its full potential – efficiently and without unnecessary wear and tear.
Changing attachments costs time, causes stress and costs money every day.
With the MKS, you can connect two hoses at the same time, even if there is residual hydraulic pressure in the implement. It features a compact design, ensures the hoses are always correctly matched and is drip-free. In addition, there are two new features that make the biggest difference to day-to-day use: magnetic locking and the magnetic garage.
Multi-coupling system – quick connection, safe operation
Magnetic lock: One hand is all you need.
Coupling with one hand and in a single step. If a foreign object gets behind the handle, it opens rather than bending or damaging the locking pin. There is no need for a delicate mechanical locking mechanism. This reduces the risk of damage.
Magnetic Garage: Protected, even whilst loading.
The magnetic garage holds the coupling blocks in place using magnets. They can be secured in a single movement and release without damage when pulled. The couplings remain clean and undamaged. The old plastic garage was the weak point: it broke, leaving the couplings exposed.
One system. Benefits for the whole business.
- Less downtime: The right attachment can be changed more quickly, so work can carry on.
- Fewer repairs: The magnetic lock replaces delicate components.
- A system for the fleet: the same coupling on every excavator, making it easier to swap attachments between machines.
- Hitch up with one hand, keep your hands cleaner and get back into the cab quickly.
- No need to guess whether the clutch is fitted correctly.
- Fewer calls to the boss and to customer services.
- Customers can have the attachment fitted more quickly and correctly.
- No problems caused by couplings that are not fully closed.
- A change in seconds rather than 15 minutes or even hours.
- Ready-to-fit kits for each type of excavator, with clear parts lists.
- Assembly with assembly instructions.
- DMS contact for technical enquiries

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, the magnetic lock is designed to provide a distinct click, ensuring the handle is always held securely whilst still being easy to open.
Yes, the MKS is designed for this purpose and significantly speeds up the coupling process in this case. However, coupling should be avoided when the system is not at full operating pressure, as this can cause damage to the seals.
The magnetic lock releases when a defined pulling force is applied. This protects the handle and the lock from damage.
The mechanical locking mechanism contains delicate and expensive components. It is difficult to incorporate an overload protection mechanism into the mechanical locking mechanism, and two hands are required to operate it. The magnetic lock can be operated with one hand, features an overload protection mechanism and is inexpensive to manufacture.
The MKS is designed for use on compact excavators with an operating weight of up to 10 tonnes. To determine suitability for other machines, the operating pressure and flow rate must be checked.
Fitting is very quick and easy. If an excavator-specific mounting kit is available for your machine, it can be fitted in 15 minutes. If the universal mounting kit is used, fitting takes slightly longer.
Specific attachment kits are available for many common types of excavator. Just ask us – we’ll be happy to check for you.
We recommend using a standard flat-seal quick-release coupling to connect the leak oil line. As integrating the coupling into the MKS would significantly increase the overall height, and as this is only required by a few attachments, the disadvantages outweigh the benefits. There is no residual pressure in the leak oil line, which makes connection straightforward. It is therefore more sensible to have a separate arrangement.
The seals in the MKS couplings can also wear out, for example if the coupling was engaged whilst under full operating pressure. In this case, please contact us or your sales partner. We will be happy to help you repair the damage quickly and cost-effectively.
The MKS is suitable for all attachments for compact excavators, provided that four hydraulic lines and one return line are sufficient. For each machine category, the maximum hydraulic pressure and the maximum flow rate are the decisive factors. It can also be used with a hydraulic breaker without restriction.
